SHILO is a backpack made for exactly this kind of bad weather, and it is popular because it suits so many uses. It is made of water-resistant material and has taped seams, waterproof zips and a waterproof closure. It is ideal for heading outdoors in any weather and can also be used as a dry bag on a boat. The roll-top closure lets you change the volume from 30 to 40 l. Because it is light, has an adjustable volume and packs down small, it is also a popular choice as airline luggage.

The simple, partly padded back panel and shoulder straps let you pack it down small. It fits easily into a suitcase or can serve as a second carry-on bag on holiday. The back is padded with light foam and mesh, so the backpack sits comfortably and your back stays well ventilated.

Shilo has loops for ice axes and poles, chest and hip compression straps, and a side pocket for small items. Inside the main compartment there is a water-protected zip pocket that is good for documents and money. All parts of the backpack are made of strong but soft material, so Shilo can easily be packed into a small bundle and used as a second or spare backpack when travelling.
