Modern Azimut bicycles are built from reliable, quality components that help ensure the bike's stability and year-round performance. The bikes are made in Europe, and the wide range lets you choose the best option for people of various ages. The AZIMUT Classic is a simple, dependable city bike with 26" wheels and a stylish retro frame. It is intended for riding in the city and countryside, on asphalt or firm gravel roads. It is an ideal choice for those who love traditional single-speed city bikes. Thanks to the city-style frame geometry and swept-back handlebar, you can ride in a relaxed style, sitting almost upright. As standard it comes with mudguards that protect against water and dirt. To keep your clothes clean and prevent them from getting caught between the chain and the sprocket, it also has a chain guard. Lighting is taken care of too - the set includes battery-powered front and rear lights that can be switched on and off. To lean the bike you won't need to look for a pole, wall or fence - just fold out the kickstand. The bike also has a rear rack that holds up to 6 kg. A soft, wide sprung saddle, non-slip plastic pedals, and 47 mm wide city tyres with a universal tread. You stop the bike with the front brakes - by pulling the brake lever on the handlebar - or with the rear coaster brake by pedalling backwards. The saddle and handlebar height/position can be adjusted individually to suit your needs. An optimal choice for cyclists up to about 170 cm tall. We recommend buying a front basket as well!
