Continental was founded in Germany and has been producing bicycle tires and inner tubes for more than a hundred years. Over that time it has refined its production technologies and selected only the best materials, so today it offers genuinely high-quality products. German patented innovations - ProTection, Black Chilli, RaceSport, Vectran, PolyX, PureGrip, Apex, Duraskin and others - provide, depending on the model, exceptional puncture resistance, better performance on the road or improved traction off-road. There is a wide choice of tread patterns, valve types, sizes and purposes, from children's and BMX tires to road, city and mountain bike tires and tubes, including specialized tires for e-bikes and for winter.

Technologies
PureGrip Compound - built on an activated silica compound, this technology was developed by Continental's research and development department in Korbach to deliver outstanding grip and cross-country properties. The PureGrip compound ranks just behind the BlackChili compound and is used in performance products for the race and mountain bike segments.
E-25 - Continental's e-bike tires draw on more than 100 years of experience with moped and motorcycle tires. All of its city/trekking tires are rated for a standard speed of at least 25 km/h, while tires marked e50 are also certified for S-Pedelecs. Thanks to their high-quality construction, puncture protection is high and rolling resistance is low, protecting the tire from premature wear caused by the additional driving force.
