The Holland Retro is a reliable city bike with a 3-speed internal gear system, 28" wheels and a stylish Retro-style frame. It comes with extra equipment - a front basket, double-wall rims and a rear wheel guard! This bike is made for riding in the city and out of town, on paved roads or firm gravel tracks. It is an ideal choice for those who love traditional city bikes with 3 internal gears. The 3-speed internal gear system is extremely reliable and requires almost no maintenance - you only need to lubricate the chain. With the twist shifter, choosing the right gear is very easy (if your model has a rear Sturmey-Archer hub, gears change only when you are not pedalling). Thanks to the city-style frame geometry and the swept-back handlebar, you can ride in a relaxed style, sitting almost upright. It comes as standard with mudguards that protect against water and dirt. To keep your clothes clean and prevent them from getting caught between the chain and the sprocket, there is also a chain guard. Lighting has of course been taken care of too - the set includes front and rear battery-powered lamps that can be switched on and off. To rest the bike you will not need to look for a post, wall or fence - just fold out the kickstand. The bike also has a rear carrier that holds up to 6 kg. It features a soft, wide saddle with springs, non-slip plastic pedals and 47 mm wide city tyres with a universal tread pattern. You can stop the bike with the front brakes - by squeezing the brake lever on the handlebar - or with the rear coaster brake by pedalling backwards. You can individually adjust the saddle and handlebar height/position to suit your needs. An optimal choice for cyclists from about 170 cm tall.
