TheGanzo Firebird FH11S-GY is an everyday folding knife equipped with a D2 tool steel head, the popular liner-lock and liners made of lightweight and durable G10 laminate.
The head, with a typical working drop-point profile (flat grind), has an optimal length of 87 mm, allowing the knife to handle most of the tasks you'll face on a daily basis. The blade is made of tough and durable D2 tool steel hardened to 58-60 HRC.
D2 is the most corrosion-resistant carbon steel, which features high resistance to abrasion, long maintenance of working sharpness and aggressive cutting. When sharpening, it is recommended to use diamond sharpeners, which significantly speed up the whole process.
For unfolding the blade with one hand there is a milled flipper, convenient for both right and left-handed people. Transverse cutters responsible for stable guidance of the blade and a solid grip are also used on the back of the blade (thumb ramp) and the liner spacer (backspacer).
When the blade is unfolded, it is locked with the popular liner-lock, a mechanism valued for its strength and comfort.
The knife's handle is formed by straight facings made of lightweight G10 laminate, a material that is resistant to mechanical impact, heat and some active chemicals. The knife weighs only 82 grams, so it does not weigh down our pocket and does not cause discomfort during everyday carrying.
The contoured clip, which can be flipped to the other side, facilitates daily use.
