The blade of the Benchmade 710FE-2401 knife is made of premium steel
The folding knife has a 101mm long blade, made of CPM MagnaCut super steel produced with powder technology. The main difference between CPM MagnaCut steel and other stainless steels is the amount of chromium. The elimination of chromium carbides from the steel's composition has resulted in a fine microstructure, making CPM MagnaCut much easier to sharpen compared to steels with similar wear resistance.
CPM MagnaCut combines the strength of CPM-4V, the corrosion resistance of CPM-20CV, the retention of CPM-CruWear/ CPM-4V and impressive hardness, so that it is now considered one of the world's best steels used in factory-made knives.
The blade has been treated with a special PVD protective coating in Flat Dark Earth color.

The blade can be conveniently unfolded with one hand, thanks to the double-sided peg, allowing both right- and left-handed people to operate the knife comfortably. The head lock is, of course, AXIS-lock, the flagship mechanism of the Benchmade brand, valued for its great resistance to stress, insensitivity to dirt and ease of use.
The liners of the Benchmade knife were formed from 6061-T6 aluminum.
The knife's handle is formed by liners made of lightweight and strong aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, which are attached to steel liners, responsible for the rigidity and strength of the construction. There is texturing on the surface of the liners, which increases grip reliability with wet or dirty hands.
At the end of the handle is a hole for a paracord tail or lanyard. The use of a black oxidized Deep Carry clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly and conveniently in a pocket, making it an ideal EDC (Everyday Carry) tool.
