Steel construction
Gerber MP600 is a full-size multitool (125 mm when folded), the construction of which is based on a full steel frame. The arms and the tool are coated with black oxide, which protects against scratches and nullifies glare.
Stainless steel is resistant to corrosion, weather and pollution, so Gerber MP600 can work in any conditions.
The manufacturer has dispensed with the use of lightweight aluminum, so the tool is durable and safely withstands the heavy loads created during undermining, tightening and cutting.
Combiners operated with one hand
Unlike classic multitools, the Gerber MP600 spring-loaded pliers are tucked into the arms and do not interfere with the work.

Their ejection requires only a vigorous movement of the wrist without having to unfold the entire tool. An automatic locking mechanism protects the pliers from accidental folding.
To retract the pliers, press the symmetrically located buttons and slide the tool inward.
Such functionality provides immediate access to the tool and allows one-handed operation, which is particularly useful and important in the operations of soldiers, rescuers, and firefighters.
The pliershave narrow ends of the so-called needle nose, a serrated surface on the inside, a cable crimper and a hard wire cutter with replaceable tungsten carbide blades.
Two blades
Themultitool uses two blades: a smooth blade and a serrated blade, thus increasing the functionality and usability of the multitool. The serrated surface will work best when cutting hard and fibrous materials such as ropes, tapes and belts.
The blades are made of hard 420HC stainless steel, which is easy to sharpen and resistant to corrosion.
