Snugpak Stratosphere is a one-person bivvy tent with a light yet sturdy construction that withstands harsh weather conditions.
A bivvy tent is a compact shelter designed for a single person, which, thanks to its low weight and small dimensions, is much easier to carry than a tent of classic construction.
Sturdy construction
The Snugpak Stratosphere tent is made from durable, waterproof 50D Rip-Stop nylon with a PU coating.
The streamlined shape of the tent, the reinforced floor coated with PU-treated 70D Taffeta nylon, and taped seams ensure the tent withstands heavy rain, storms and blizzards. This construction guarantees a dry and warm rest even during extreme expeditions.
The tent has a lightweight 8 mm aluminium frame. 7 pegs are included for pitching (one spare).
Outdoor comfort
Comfort is ensured by a mosquito net that protects against annoying insects and a ventilation opening that maintains free air circulation inside the tent.
The tent unzips along its entire length, making it easy to get in and convenient to store luggage. When pitched, the tent measures 230 x 105 x 95 cm.
