The BCB Fireball Grand with compass is a new BCB flint model featuring an upgraded rod and a polymer handle that combines two tools in one.
The BCB Fireball Grand is an effective fire starter, compact enough to carry comfortably in a pocket, survival kit, or evacuation bag.
Reliable and effective
The ferro rod is made from a magnesium alloy that produces highly energetic sparks reaching almost 3,000 °C, so you can start a fire regardless of weather conditions. The sparks work even on a wet surface, in rain, in snow, at any altitude, and at any latitude.
The large 8 mm thick rod ensures years of use even under intensive use (up to 3,000 strikes).
Extra functionality
A button compass is built into the contoured handle, useful as an emergency navigation tool.
Comfortable to use
The steel striker with V-shaped notches makes it easier to strike sparks, so even less experienced outdoor enthusiasts can handle it with ease.
The ferro rod is fitted into a polymer cap, to which a lanyard can be attached for easy carrying. The red color of the handle and the striker cap ensures good visibility and makes them easier to find in grass or in a backpack.
