TheElite Force EF712 is a multi-functional survival machete with a dorsal saw and a gut to protect the hand while working.
The shape of the machete is reminiscent of the Roman gladius sword, with a short wide head and a sharply pointed hilt with high penetrating properties.
The head, 440 mm long, was created from 440 stainless steel, which will work well as a material in a field tool due to its high resistance to corrosion, good retention and ease and speed of sharpening.
The machete can easily handle chopping and batoning, and has additional features in the form of a ridged wood saw, a bottle opener, and a planing and cutting blade.
Cutouts in the blade (to reduce weight) and a black anti-corrosion coating give the machete a slightly futuristic look.
A molded polymer handle with non-slip texturing is responsible for comfort and safety. The grip is finished with a triangular bolt with a hole through which a safety cable is threaded.
For carrying the machete, we get a solidly made sheath with a tension fastener and an adjustable nylon strap with a fastex buckle, allowing to carry the machete on the back or slanted over the body. When the nylon strap is removed, it can act as an improvised tourniquet or trouser belt.
