The Gerber Compact Clearpath is a compact stainless steel machete with a functional saw and a non-slip Gator grip.
The Gerber Compact Clearpath is a handy, easy-to-carry hiking tool that combines the features of a machete and a wood saw. Such functionality means that we do not have to take two separate tools with us for a field trip and we reduce the weight of our equipment.
Stainless steel blade
The 280 mm long blade is made of one piece of stainless steel (hidden-tang construction), which is characterized by high hardness and wear resistance, thanks to which it is perfectly able to overcome obstacles, chop, grub and cut.
One tool, two functions
The blade with a drop-point profile is the optimal solution for a heavy-duty tool. The center of gravity of the blade has been slightly shifted forward, so that the hand is less tired while working, and the cutting itself is very efficient.
On the back of the machete there is a wood saw equipped with 2 rows of sharp teeth.
This simple solution effectively increases the functionality and performance of the machete in the field, which is why the compact Gerber Compact Clearpath is especially popular among lovers of bushcraft, survival and canoeing.
Robust handle
The profiled handle made of GatorGrip rubber with a fine texture is responsible for the comfort of work and a stable grip. The grip provides excellent grip and effectively dampens vibrations during work.
An enlarged crossguard and a cutout for a finger prevent the hand from slipping onto the blade. At the end of the handle there is a hook with a safety lanyard attached to it.
The grip of the machete is enlivened by orange inserts, which increase its visibility and make it easier to find the tool among the vegetation.
Safe handling
The set includes a nylon sheath fastened with a press stud. The ballistic nylon used is a material resistant to moisture, mold and mechanical damage.
