Benchmade 535BK-2 Bugout is the second generation of a popular everyday folder, valued for its functionality, lightness and comfort of use.
Renowned American steel
The knife has a blade with a usable drop-point profile, made of CPM-S30V hardened to 58-60 HRC stainless steel. The 82 mm long key has optimal size and functionality, it is perfect for everyday tasks.
CPM-S30V powder steel is characterized by high hardness and resistance to damage, which ensures its optimal sharpness for a long time. The blade is completely covered with a DLC protective layer, which has a very high abrasion resistance, and reduces steel wear.
Quick and convenient disassembly
The blade can be conveniently unfolded with one hand thanks to the use of a double-sided pin (made of black anodized aluminum), thus enabling comfortable use of the knife by right and left-handed people.
Reliable lock
The blade lock is, of course, Axis-lock, the flagship mechanism of the Benchmade brand, valued for its great resistance to loads, resistance to dirt and ease of use.
Ultra light handle
The second generation Bugout uses advanced CF-Elite material to build the linings. This nylon polymer has been reinforced with carbon fiber, making the handle of the knife 17% lighter and stiffer (compared to the Grivoy).
Like the blade and other elements of the cladding, they are in discreet black colors. Delicately profiled anti-skid-textured linings provide a very comfortable and stable knife grip.
Pocket clip
The compact clip with the option of translating (left / right) allows you to carry the knife in a pocket in a very discreet, unobtrusive way. The handle also has a hole for attaching a rope or a paracord braid.
