Ruike S11-B is a modern EDC pocket knife with a Swedish 12C27 steel pommel and a comfortable G10 laminate handle.
The Ruike S11-B model is a pocket folding knife with a total length of 122 mm, which is perfect as a tool for everyday use in urban conditions.
Swedish stainless steel
The folding blade is made of the acclaimed Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, which has a carbon content similar to the popular 440A steel, while maintaining a higher purity of composition. Hardening with the cryogenic method ensures a hardness in the range of 57-59 HRC.
Due to the high hardness, abrasion and corrosion resistance and regular distribution of carbides, the polished blade remains sharp for a long time. It is worth noting that the blade made of such steel can be easily sharpened even when using a small pocket sharpener.
Despite the compact size of the tool, the blade has a length of 53 mm (thickness 3 mm), which makes it functional and durable.
Classic design
The blade is unfolded with a cutout for a nail and, just like in classic Swiss pocket knives, this operation requires the use of two hands. The knife does not have a classic lock, after unfolding the blade it is kept in a fixed position by an internal spring (slip-joint mechanism).
Therefore, only slight force should be used to fold the blade.
Light G10 laminate
The modern character of the pocket knife is emphasized by cladding made of G10 laminate, a material with a high content of carbon fiber and epoxy resin.
Such a combination makes the G10 laminate characterized by high mechanical strength, resistance to high temperatures and a relatively low weight. The matt structure of the handle provides a stable grip and prevents the tool from slipping during operation.
At the end of the handle, a steel ring is attached, allowing the knife to be carried with the keys or a decorative paracord braid to be woven.
