The Lansky 6×2 DB-1260 is a double-sided diamond sharpener with coarse and fine gradations, allowing you to perform edge repair, change the angle of the edge, as well as give the final sharpness.
The diamond coating is harder than sintered carbide, making the sharpening process quite easy and fast, and no water or oil is required.
Carbide-coated inserts also make it possible to sharpen knives made of modern steels with a high degree of hardening, which a standard stone sharpener can't handle.
The whetstone consists of a sturdy polymer base equipped with a non-slip collar and a removable steel diamond-blade plate with gradations of coarse 120 and fine 600.
The rubberized base of the case prevents the sharpener from sliding or slipping on the table, and thanks to the holes, we can also permanently attach it to the tabletop.
