A classic and extremely lightweight model from the French company Opinel, which has been producing knives for more than 100 years. The thin blade with a flat grind is made of stainless steel.
The beech wood handle is exquisitely contoured and provides a firm, pleasant grip. The locking of the blade is provided by a swivel ring, patented in 1955 under the name virobloc.
This knife is an excellent item for people who appreciate tradition, functionality and simplicity, and is a great idea for an inexpensive, original gift.
