The "Camshaft Valve 1375" model is a pocket folding knife designed for everyday use, part of a modern, affordable line of knives. It is made from 4Cr14 steel and features the "SpeedSafe" assisted-opening system.
Proven steel
The compact 57 mm blade is made from durable 4Cr14 steel, hardened to 55-57 HRC. This Chinese stainless steel offers high corrosion resistance and, while it does not hold an edge for a particularly long time, this is well compensated for by how easily and quickly it can be resharpened.
Because of these steel properties, the "Kershaw Valve 1375" is aimed at less demanding users and those just starting out with outdoor activities and EDC.

A functional blade
The wide drop-point blade features a stonewashed matte finish (tumbled with abrasive stones), which effectively hides minor scratches and marks that occur during use.
Thanks to its strong tip, concave grind and gently curved cutting edge, the knife offers good cutting and piercing performance, and the blade does not get stuck in the material being cut.
The blade thickness at its widest point is 2.8 mm - a compromise between the knife's durability and its functionality in everyday tasks. Jimping on the spine of the blade allows for a stable finger grip during use.
Small decorative accents are used in the knife's design - a black oxidized pivot, a sandblasted clip and an FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) handle scale.
Convenient operation
The blade is deployed one-handed using a milled flipper - a convenient solution for both right- and left-handed users. This convenient opening method makes the knife especially easy and comfortable to use.
A mechanism that helps deploy the blade
The opening process is assisted by the "SpeedSafe" support mechanism. When the flipper is pressed or the blade is pulled out, the mechanism engages an internal spring that dynamically deploys the blade, making the knife ready for use in a split second.
Sturdy lock
The monolithic frame lock, considered one of the most durable locking mechanisms, effectively prevents the blade from folding accidentally. Like the opening mechanism, the lock can be operated with one hand.
Carry clip
A discreet carry in your pocket is made easier by the high-mounted clip.
Ergonomic scales
The knife's handle is made from stainless steel scales, subtly contoured to fit the hand. Thanks to the sandblasting method, the whole construction of the knife looks very elegant and refined.
