The Benchmade 495 Vector is a classic edc folder, equipped with a CPM-S30V steel spear point blade, a double lock and a flipper used to quickly unfold the blade with one hand.
The Benchmade 495 Vector is a large folding knife that will be perfect for everyday urban use as well as for light field work.
The blade, 91 mm long, was made of CPM-S30V powder steel, hardened to a hardness of 58-60 HRC . This type of steel is characterized by high hardness, corrosion resistance and a high content of carbides which contribute to maintaining excellent sharpness for a long time.
The blade has an attractive spear-point shape , with a strong tip and a decorative false blade. The blade with a symmetrical profile provides very good penetration, has high stress resistance and good cutting properties.
The knife blade can be quickly unfolded with one hand, using a flipper, which can be conveniently used by right and left-handed people.
Thanks to the Axis Assist support system , you only need to lightly press the spindle, the internal spring will automatically do the rest of the work for us.
Benchmade 495 Vector has two locks , a standard axis mechanism and additional protection that protects against accidental unfolding of the knife, e.g. when carrying it.
The profiled G10 laminate claddings are attached to full steel inserts , which are responsible for the strength and rigidity of the structure. Non-slip texturing of the handle ensures a solid and comfortable grip of the knife.
The open design makes it easy to clean the knife and reduces its weight. Discreet carrying of the knife in a pocket is ensured by a high-mounted clip that can be moved to the other side.
