Fenix HL18R-T is a lightweight sports headlamp, rechargeable via a micro-USB port, emitting 2 types of light with a maximum flux of 500 lumens . The flashlight is equipped with a double switch, a replaceable battery with a capacity of 1300 mAh and an adjustable Sport Fit System armband that is operated with one hand.
Fenix HL18R-T is a modernized version of the popular HL18R-T headlamp, which offers a stronger beam of light , greater range and convenient adjustment of the headband. The model was created for people looking for a light and reliable headlamp for jogging, Nordic walking, trekking and other forms of outdoor activity where every gram of equipment is important.

Light polymer housing
The body of the headlamp is made of light plastic, which is characterized by high thermal stability, resistance to mechanical damage and high temperatures. These properties provide the flashlight with durability and reliability, making it perfect for demanding outdoor activities. It is worth noting that the weight of the headlamp with batteries is only 91 g , so when you put the flashlight on your head, it is easy to forget about having it.
Dual light beam
The light source is two Everlight 2835 diodes and a Cree XP-G3 S3 diode. The emitted light has a natural color of light with a high CRI coefficient, which reflects the colors well and does not tire the eyesight even after prolonged use. Depending on the needs and the situation, we can use 2 types of light: focused with a maximum flux of 500 lumens or diffused with a value of 30 lumens. Two beam widths (84 ° / 17 °), a maximum range of 82 m (focused light in high mode) and an adjustable beam angle of 60 ° (inclination of the entire head) make the Fenix HL18R-T a valuable lighting for every jogging and hiking enthusiast or fishing.
Multi power
The Fenix HL18RW headlamp is factory-powered with a lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 1300 mAh. The applied package provides up to 30 hours in low mode (30 lumens) or up to 180 minutes of total work in high mode (500 lumens). The manufacturer foresaw the possibility of an alternative form of power supply. After discharging the battery, we can replace it with 3 popular AAA batteries (Ni-MH / Alkaline). When going on a longer trip outside the city, it is worth taking a supply of AAA batteries with you, so that even in a random situation we will not run out of light.
Fast charging
A fast Micro-USB port is used to charge the battery , which allows the battery to be fully charged in just 2.5 hours (mains charging). The Micro-USB port allows you to recharge the battery, e.g. while traveling in a car, at work or using a power bank. This solution also reduces the costs associated with the need to purchase a charger and provides us with independence and greater mobility during outdoor activities. The flashlight uses a LED battery level indicator (4 LEDs), which clearly informs about the state of the battery, allowing for thoughtful energy management.
Separate switches
The flashlight is operated by two buttons located at the top of the flashlight, separate for concentrated and diffused light. This solution guarantees comfort and ease of use of the headlamp. The assigned button enables / disables and changes the brightness of the light. The flashlight uses 5 operating modes: 3 levels of concentrated light (low, medium, high) and 2 diffused light settings (low, SOS). The flashlight has a lock function that protects against accidental switching on of the flashlight while carrying it, which may of course lead to uncontrolled battery exhaustion.
Resistant to all weather conditions
Fenix HL18R-T provides the IP66 protection class , which means that it is resistant to dust, dust, heavy rain, splashes and a fall from a height of 1 m. Therefore, we can use the flashlight without fear in almost all weather conditions and various physical activities. The advanced driver and solid construction make the flashlight efficient in a wide temperature range: -35 ° C to 45 ° C.
Headband with quick adjustment
The Fenix HL18R-T model uses the patented Fit System adjustment system , which allows you to adjust the circumference of the strap with one hand. The mechanism is operated by a rotating disk, which can easily shorten or increase the circumference of the strap even while jogging.
The widened tape is responsible for the comfort and stability of wearing the flashlight on the head and easy drainage of sweat during physical activity. The tape has reflective inserts to increase our visibility and safety when moving at night on the road or trail.

The presented parameters were obtained in laboratory conditions. During the tests, the Fenix ARB-LP-1300 battery and AAA Pairdeer alkaline batteries were used.
