Zero Tolerance ZT Sinkevich 0450CF is a sophisticated "gentleman folder" knife , equipped with a ball bearing CPM-35VN steel blade , titanium and carbon fiber facings and a convenient folding system with a pinball knife .
The Zero Tolerance ZT 0450 is one of the most successful fruits of Zero Tolerance's collaboration with the Belarusian designer Dmitry Sinkevich, who launched a series of designer, highly functional everyday knives made of the highest quality materials.
American stainless steel
The 82 mm long blade was made of American CPM-S35VN powder steel . This grade of stainless steel is characterized by high toughness (hardening 58-60 HRC), wear and corrosion resistance and extremely long sharpness retention .
Unlike its predecessor, the CPM-S30V, the CPM-S35VN is much easier to sharpen due to the finer grain of the steel and the addition of niobium. However, due to the high hardening properties and toughness of CPM-S35VN steel, we recommend the use of diamond stones for sharpening.
The blade has been protected with a black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) wear-resistant coating , which reduces steel wear and prevents corrosion. Thanks to the use of a strong tip, gentle curvature of the edge and flat grinding, the blade perfectly penetrates and provides very good cutting properties .
The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 3 mm, which is a compromise between the durability and functionality of the knife in everyday work. On the back of the blade there are transverse cutters that create a very stable support for the thumb or index finger.

Instantly unfolds the blade
The blade is unfolded with one hand using a milled flipper , a convenient solution for both right and left-handed users. KVT ball bearings are installed on the axis of the blade, thanks to which the blade works very smoothly and dynamically, making everyday use of the knife a pure pleasure.
Work safety
Against accidental folding of the blade, it is effectively protected by a monolithic frame-lock equipped with a hardened steel insert that prevents abrasion of titanium. Frame-lock is a solid lock considered to be one of the most durable locking mechanisms, characterized by resistance to dirt and very comfortable operation.
Modern materials
The knife has profiled cladding made of the highest quality materials, i.e. titanium and carbon fiber . Titanium is light, completely resistant to corrosion, mechanical damage, and is not sensitive to high temperatures, acids and sea water.
Carbon fiber is an extremely light and durable material that undoubtedly gives the knife a prestigious appearance. The elegant character of the knife is emphasized by polished spacer sleeves, effectively anodized in emerald green.
Interchangeable clip
Discreet carrying of the knife in the pocket allows the high-mounted clip with the possibility of mounting on both sides of the handle . On the handle, apart from the clip, there is also a hole for attaching a decorative braid or a security cable.
