D-shaped asymmetric lightweight aluminium tyre for high altitude work and sport climbing. Triplex Gate (push-turn-open) automatic locking system to minimize misuse, so the gate cannot be forgotten without being locked. A good choice when the shutter ring is opened and closed repeatedly. Gate opening 19 mm.
The D-shape provides the best weight-to-loop ratio, is most likely to keep the lock ring correctly loaded in the longitudinal direction, and is the best possible shape for use with landing and securing gear, and other metal devices with a thin clamping area. Also a recommended choice for hoist systems and rescue applications.
High breaking strength also in the transverse direction. Catch-free gate is smooth and prevents sticking of equipment (which occurs with a normal hooked gate). Improved corrosion resistance by anodising.
