The Lansky Edge LSTCS is a lightweight, portable, fixed-angle sharpener with tungsten carbide abrasive surfaces.
The sharpener has a profiled handle with a comfortable support for the thumb, which ensures comfort and stability of the grip during use. Thanks to the durable and very light structure, the sharpener will be perfect as an accessory for any tourist kitchen.
Sharpening with such a whetstone is extremely simple and requires no experience. To sharpen the cutting edge, you only need to pull the knife through the sharpening slot a few times until you are satisfied with the sharpness.
Tungsten carbide abrasive plates with coarse gradation are set at a constant angle of approx. 22.5 ° (per side), therefore Lansky Edge LSTCS is best suited for sharpening kitchen knives and EDC tools.
It is worth remembering that carbide collects steel very aggressively, so when sharpening the knife should not be pressed down, it is enough to delicately stall with the weight of the tool itself. A hook in the housing allows you to insert a line or a lanyard.
