TheKershaw Blur is a very handy folding knife, which is designed for everyday carry and versatile use. The purpose of the knife is best accentuated by its optimal size, functional style and proven technical solutions.

The 86 mm long blade is made of Swedish 14C28N stainless steel hardened between 58-60 HRC. Due to the high purity of the alloy, 14C28N steel is distinguished by its high hardness, corrosion resistance and, importantly for the user, long retention of working sharpness.

The aggressive blade with a tactical tanto profile has been protected with a black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) protective coating, which in increases the hardness of the steel, protects against corrosion, wear and scratches.

The blade is partially serrated, this increases the functionality of the knife and allows efficient cutting of hard and fibrous materials such as ropes, belts and webbing. Thanks to the concave grind, two cutting edges, and a very durable tip, the knife is very versatile.

The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 3 mm, which is a compromise between durability and functionality of the knife in everyday work.

Comfort of use

The blade can be conveniently unfolded with one hand using a double-sided peg, so that after removing it from the pocket the knife is instantly ready for work.

This solution is convenient for both right- and left-handed users, and also allows comfortable operation of the knife with gloves.

The opening process is facilitated by the SpeedSafe assist mechanism. When the flipper flipper is pressed, the assist mechanism activates an internal spring that dynamically unfolds the blade, making the knife ready for use in a fraction of a second.

The knife's handle is formed by liners made of lightweight and durable 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, which are attached to steel liners, responsible for the rigidity and strength of the structure. An element of the handle that significantly affects the comfort of the knife is the Trac-Tec inserts.

The non-slip texture of the plastic provides excellent grip on the knife and prevents it from slipping from the hand. The anodized coating is resistant to fading, scratching and abrasion, which guarantees the attractive appearance of the knife for a long time.
