TheLansky LSTCN is a lightweight, portable fixed-angle sharpener with hard tungsten carbide abrasive surfaces.
The sharpener has an ergonomic rubberized handle with a comfortable thumb rest for a comfortable and stable grip during use. Thanks to its sturdy and very lightweight design, the sharpener will be a great addition to any travel kitchen.
Sharpening with such a whetstone is extremely easy and requires no experience. To sharpen the cutting edge, you only need to pull the knife through the sharpening slot a few times until you get a satisfactory sharpness.
Thetungsten carbide abrasive plates are set at a fixed angle of about 22.5° (per side), which is why the Lansky LSTCN will work best for sharpening kitchen knives and edc tools.
It is worth remembering that the carbide collects material very aggressively, so when sharpening, do not press the knife, gentle strokes using the weight of the tool itself will suffice.
A hole in the housing allows you to insert a cord or lanyard.
